Everything Burgers

1-2 lbs Ground turkey breast meat

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Minced garlic

2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (evoo)

1 Red pepper, pitted and sliced

4-5 Onion slices

4 slices American cheese (optional)

1 Leaf of lettuce

4 Whole wheat buns

 

  1. In a large saucepan, heat evoo and sauté peppers and onions on medium until onions are lightly golden.
  2. Once onions and peppers are cooked, place in a large bowl and add raw turkey meat, salt, pepper, minced garlic and mix.
  3. Make 4 patties.
  4. Place on grill.
  5. Add fully cooked turkey patties and cheese to a bun and enjoy!
