Today we learned that Stephen Covey, author of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” passed away from injuries he sustained in a bicycling accident from April 2012, he was 79. Covey was a personal inspiration to myself and millions of others. His knowledge for life and business were founded solidly in character. His book changed my life drastically, and I was never the same after reading it.
“In his final hours, he was surrounded by his loving wife and each one of his children and their spouses, just as he always wanted,” his family said.
His slogan was “empowering greatness” and that is exactly the legacy he has left. This reminds us all to live every day with happiness in our hearts. He will truly be missed. Goodbye Mr. Covey, and thank you for touching so many lives.
