Fitness is about being healthy. Most people think of fitness and they think of the body and working out muscles.The soul refers to the non-physical part of ourselves. It is the moral and emotional part. Sometimes people have fitness and health of the body, but not the mind. And sometimes have fitness of the mind, but not the soul. We have failed at combining the two and using our “Soul Fitness”.
What is “Soul Fitness”? “Soul Fitness” is a term I like to use when referring to doing healthy and fit things for yourself and for others that in turn makes you healthier morally, mentally, emotionally and eventually physically. When you do good things for others you feel good. When you do good things for yourself you feel good. Exercising our soul is just as important as exercising our muscles, if not more important. So today practice a little “Soul Fitness” and start your principle in life to feel good, think well, and take action. It could be as simple and giving a smile to a friend, to giving yourself kind thoughts, or it can be as great as giving to your favorite charity. Whatever it is……make sure you feel good.
